The base GT350 Fastback (900A) starts at $47,870 – without delivery. If the customer wants to add the letter "R" behind the GT350 badge for a track-ready version of the Shelby, it will cost an additional $13,500 (920A). That totals $61,370, and considering what the car will offer, it could be a decent deal.

Think about it, an aero kit that actually produces downforce, 19-inch carbon fiber rims, specifically tailored made Michelin tires, and a naturally aspirated, flat-crank, 5.2-litre V8, which is believed to produce over 500 BHP and 540 Newton/meters.

Furthermore, to improve the light-weight experience, the GT350R won't carry around unnecessary stuff like a rear seat bench, exhaust resonators, the trunk floorboard, tire repair kit, rear-view camera, a stereo or an air conditioning system.

Of course, if the customer decides that the GT350R is better with a stereo and air conditioning, the $3,000 option can be chosen from the list and spoil everything the engineers have worked on. Other option include a $6,500 track package for the tamed GT350 variant, which isn't as lightweight and performance-oriented as the GT350R.
